To put my own mind at rest, I use the available map as a basis, search through the sword of truth wiki, and put together a few random clues from the TV series. *Bangs head against wall in frustration* (What can I say, I have a thing about maps). Lo and behold, there is a map! Only one slight problem: it's for the book series, and doesn't contain many of the places that come up in the show that I want to use. Then confusion sets in - where in this world am I making our Merry Band of Adventurers go? Do they have to cross rivers, trek through mountains? Are there major towns nearby? So I sit down, start typing, and all is good for the first week.
Seeing as this is National Novel Writing Month, I figured it was time to start putting fingers to keyboard and actually write some of the fan fiction that has been floating around my head for who knows how long.
